After the years I spent at the Academy HKU in Hilversum (NL) and the Academy Karel de Grote in Antwerpen, (B), I was invited to artist in residency projects at various locations within the EU.

My work is a lush and free mix of texts, photography and the filmic medium, ranging from documentary film for TV and cinema to installations where sound and image play an intriguing and complementary role.

Fortunately, I have come across many people whilst traveling and working abroad, and I will always be intrigued by their power and diversity.

In the last 8 years most of my work in either film production and shooting are contingent on all that experience with a plethora of people and their customs from around the globe.

With my life partner Lucienne Groot and a team from my latest creation: AMIR project, we work on new film and TV projects where all our assets are finding their way to reach out to all of you out there.
